HEAT TREATMENT

HEAT TREATMENT – Enhancing Performance from the Inside Out

Heat Treatment is a critical process in precision engineering that alters the physical and mechanical properties of metals to improve hardness, toughness, ductility, and wear resistance. At ONE SOURCE ENGINEERS, we provide a wide range of heat treatment services through our integrated vendor network—ensuring every component performs reliably under stress, load, and temperature.

Whether you’re manufacturing tools, gears, shafts, or structural components, our tailored heat treatment processes are designed to meet specific performance criteria, industry standards, and application demands.

Why Choose ONE SOURCE ENGINEERS for Heat Treatment?

✅ Access to multiple thermal processes under one roof
✅ Controlled environment furnaces & quenching systems
           ✅ Vendor certifications in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100
✅ Integration with machining, forging, casting & surface finishing
✅ Complete documentation: Case depth reports, hardness charts, MTCs

OUR ENGINEERING CAPABILITIES

1. CASE HARDENING

Case Hardening is a process where only the outer surface (case) of the metal is hardened, leaving the core ductile and tough. It’s ideal for components that need a wear-resistant exterior with a shock-absorbing core.

2. THROUGH HARDENING

Through Hardening involves heating the entire part to a critical temperature and then rapidly quenching it to harden the entire cross-section. The component is usually tempered afterward to adjust the final hardness and reduce brittleness.

3. INDUCTION HARDENING

Induction Hardening is a selective surface hardening process where high-frequency alternating current heats a localized area of the part, followed by rapid quenching. It is highly controlled and energy-efficient.
